Beautiful art has unique power to attract and unite. When I am talking about ‘art’, it’s a broad term and includes many form from drawing to painting and singing to dancing. However the baseline for any form of art is creativity and innovation.
As I have been frequently blogging on website design and trends on my blog, I would love to fabricate the same but this time it will be an inspiration. Prior to this I wrote one on contact us page which received good response.
Have you ever found a website that seemed to you hand drawn design. As if, a designer has drawn the website with hand and developed it. I often do, actually these designs are perfect example of creativity and innovation. The trends are popular and many websites are trying out ways to undergo redesign and create new hand drawn design for their website.
Just to get into the view, I listed here six hand drawn website that inspired me the most. I found it attractive and worth sharing perhaps you will too.
1) candccoffee.com (Hospitality and fooding sector):
Candc Coffee is coffee store serving coffee at Chambersburg. It is not an ecommerce store but just an informative site promoting noble cause and exclusive features of the store. Wonderful representation of hand drawn things and the right color contrast to depict coffee theme.
2) undergrad.biola.edu (Educational sector):
Wonderful use of unconventional hand-drawn elements giving the website a feel of organized and saturated educated community. Just wonderful!
3) sketch.odopod.com:
Have you ever tries to sketch yourself? Try out with odopod. The website is a wonderful example of hand drawn website design. It is full with hand drawn sketches and you wsketches and Here you will find loads of sketches that are all hand-drawn.
4) www.kutztown.edu/acad/commdes
Now something different here, this hand drawn design has beautifully used water color to present the combination of conventional sources. Check out for greenery, cloud, sun and the building properly portrayed in the valley. Just awesome! And the best part that I liked the most is the proper use of water color and hand drawn elements.
5) deborahcavenaugh.com (Art Website):
The website is a personal site of Deborah Cavenaugh a painter by profession. You will find the look and feel of a painter as soon as you will enter the website. The entire website is hand drawn with bright colors depicting the feel of color and paintings. One of the best hand drawn website designs I couldn’t wait but just to include in the list.
6) robbinwaldemar.com (Art Website):
The website has used wonderful combination of font and hand drawn templates to depict the theme o the website. The website is named after two art director Robin and Waldemar, art director by profession. The website invokes the art of the designer very beautifully.
Inspiration is a never-ending process and it is for one and all, be it a kid rhyming the alphabets or the engineers and developer working on crucial projects. Very truly said, with the right inspiration one can accomplish just anything/anywhere. The motive behind these hand drawn websites can be many but for me the inspiration was just to catch the good.
The hand drawn website design starts with a pencil prior it is taken to the Photoshop and these recent trends is conversing better the motive. And not to forget that hand drawn website is able to part information on an emotional and personal note.
